What is Hari Raya without lemang and rendang? Both are guaranteed to have a permanent spot on your table during the Hari Raya celebrations. Lemang is often eaten with beef/chicken rendang or curry. The combination is marvellous! And of course the best rendang is always your mom’s!
Normally, on the first day of Hari Raya, you would be trooping over to your mom’s and grandmother’s place to enjoy their special dishes like rendang, lontong, lemang, ketupat and the list goes on. But maybe not this year, because we need to be responsible and don’t balik kampung. However, Let’s not make restrictions imposed by COVID-19 bother your Hari Raya Spirit. Let’s make the most of it!
