Top 4 Mamak Delivery Options In Subang Jaya

By: Kang Kung King

Hello Subang-ites! I guess by now most of us have adapted to life during MCO. But I’m sure deep inside our Malaysian hearts (and stomachs) we crave for that lepak session at our favourite Mamaks. But now we cannot simply go out and lepak, or else the abang polis will scold us (if kakak polis scold maybe not so bad).

So how-la weh?

One thing about the MCO is that face-to-face socialising is still possible thanks to online platforms such as Google Hangouts Meet, Cisco Webex and Zoom (but now nobody wants to use Zoom anymore, so kesian). And we have learnt to make use of these online platforms to chill and talk for hours about anything.

Friday night lepak sessions

So, the next question is, how do we make these online chat sessions feel almost like a real lepak session? Here’s the formula:

Your geng + Google Hangouts Meet + Mamak Food by your side = Perfect Online Lepak Session

So, to help you with that formula, here are some Mamak options available for delivery during MCO near you!

1. Restoran Nasi Kandar Subaidah

Some people pronounce it as Su-baidah some call it Zu-baidah, but based on the logo I call it Colonel Sanders saying “Selamat datang, masuk lah ini restoran!”

The glamour name is Q-Beez. This is one of the more modern mamaks that has that ding-dong button on each table. I think they’ve got some sort of A.I (Anneh Intelligence) because when you press the button, that fella is already standing beside you.

3. Restoran Syed Bistro

This particular branch has been a port for Liverpool fans. For the past 10 years during weekend matches, these fans have been making lots of noise, but still haven’t won the Premier League. Hopefully on this 11th year, they can win it la. For those of you new Liverpool fans, after this MCO you can consider checking out this port.

Teh Tarik Available: NO (But their Milo Ice won’t disappoint you)

Key Highlights:

  • Milo Ice (Don’t customise or ask for kurang manis or anything. Just order as it is – default setting)
  • Bukhara Briyani Chicken

4. Restoran Pak Ali Nasi Lemak Daun Pisang

Image: @PakAliNasiLemakDaunPisang (Facebook)

Okay this Pak Ali is more of a kedai melayu than a mamak if you ask me. But it cannot be left out because of the nasi lemak that comes with the daun pisang. And they have all the options that are usually available in a mamak.

Teh Tarik Available: YES

  • Lemak Sotong Goreng Bawang (this one bro…is best bro)
  • Nasi Goreng Pattaya
  • Roti Canai Boom

So there you have it, some options to help make the best out of your online lepak sessions! If any of these options are your favourite Mamaks or if you know any other places, let us know.

PS: None of these Mamaks listed ais kosong in the menu option, so you have to make your own ais kosong
